National security adviser Michael Flynn, a Democrat, has resigned. This is a sign that President Trump’s bipartisanship is fundamentally a failed premise. The establishment parties and power structure are filled with flagrant corruption. President Trump should continue to fire anyone who causes any problems since the current bloated government is completely stagnant. An elite core, even if members are replaced frequently, empowered to cut down the bureaucracy and restore function to government would serve the President fantastically.
Surrounding this story is much talk about trust and judgment which are core principles that President Trump has, as such I expect to see resignations coming regularly. Perhaps not all resignations will be as open to partisan politics but they can be leveraged in the same manner as resignations during the campaign were. The media and progressive left will find a target that they try to attack while President Trump has already moved on to other matters.
