Surveillance Confirmed

Representative Devin Nunes confirms that President Trump and his transition team were under surveillance for at least the months of November, December, and January. During press conferences he stressed that the surveillance appeared to be legal, even referencing FISA, but was worried about the unmasking of names.

Another key point was that the surveillance was not related to Russia but was incidental, meaning that any data collected by the NSA did not come from an old style physical wire tap. Snowden revealed the NSA dragnet surveillance, showing that by getting a phone or internet line you’ve already given the government full access to your data.
